Good morning Alveo!
It's that time of the year again when the company recognizes those who have performed well during the first half of the year -Midyear Awarding! And since the whole Ayala Land is pushing Circuit Makati as the next entertainment district, we held our event in the ever famous Globe Circuit Event Grounds.
For those of you who doesn't know yet, Circuit Makati is my project after the emotional parting with Maridien of High Street South. This project right here is my baby! ☺ And I know all the plans they have for this place! Haha! ☺ The perks of being me. Choz.
Going back to the Midyear Awarding... Our theme for this year was.... BOHO CHIC! Forgive me if I did little effort in dressing up because it was announced like a week or two before the actual event, plus BOHO CHIC is almost similar to last year's theme which was WOODSTOCK. Mehehe. So I failed to have enough effort to buy clothes and dress up. Explain explain explain. At one point, I was looking at all these photos of Boho Chic in the internet and I got really confused as to what kind of get up should I wear. It gets really extreme and there could be a lot of options, variations and accessories!!! That is not for me. So I settled for a brown top I had, a short denim tattered shorts, a wedge with weird looking bead pattern in earth colors and a flowery crown and make up by Katz. Done! ☺
The event did not start right up. We were watching Maroon 5 marathon for so long I did not even know that it is dark out already. Maroon 5 marathon.. Music Video, Live, TV Guesting etc. I can almost taste Adam Levine just because I watched him for so long in the big screen. Oh.
The president of our company arrived and so we could now rest Adam Levine and the rest of Maroon 5 to sleep. The first part of the program was the speech by no less than the president of Ayala Land Inc., Mr. Tony Aquino himself.

The difference is undeniable!!! OMG! I'm such a fan of Apple but this is inexcusable!! I know that Iphone 5's camera is only is 8MP and Samsung S4's camera is 13MP but woah! That 5MP difference is really is something! Just look at that!!! Look at that!!!
To be honest though, Iphone's camera is not very outstanding when it's shot in the dark and hell it was dark when this picture was taken. Oh well.
The speech was mainly about congratulating and acknowledging Alveo as the number one in Ayala Land's Residential Business Group! Surpassing even our mother company, Ayala Land Premier!! ☺ Well, done Alveo! Well done! ☺Mr. Aquino also made mention of Circuit Makati as the next big thing in our lives. Ehem! Pressure right there... pressure.
I am kind of confused as to what came next but I'll just mention all that I remember. There was the awarding of the people; there was the introduction by our Sales Head, Gutz Gutierrez, of our two new division; showing of the new divisions' AVP; and there goes the bands!
Each division's band has to perform in a gig like fashion. My team, Phoenix Team, consists of the non In-house (meaning Brokers, International and Corporate Sales), performed three songs! And my very good friend (and make up artist), Katz Geroy was the lead singer. Sigh! She is so damn talented singing and playing the keyboard and stuff! And so pretty too! ☺
