all we do is eat

"The way to a man's heart is through his stomach."

I was never any good at cooking.

Slaving away in the heat of the kitchen and risking that you may have less number of fingers after you're done? No, thank you.

But.. as they say, nothing is constant but change.

I've blogged about cooking for Rob here. And I enjoyed it. Really. :)

But more than cooking, what I recently found out is my love for.. eating.

NOMNOMNOM!

I swear that I eat like a freaking dinosaur now. Rawr!

I don't know why I don't gain weight at all. It is so unfair to those who try hard not to eat and count their calorie intake and still gain weight. lol. I just want to gain a few pounds. Just a few.. like 10. or 15, maybe?

Some of our gluttonous adventures...

You ready for foodporn? (and a whole lotta camwhoring!!!)

BROTHERS BURGER
B6 Bonifacio High Street, 5th Ave.,
Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

I super love Brothers Burger! Imagine my stick-thin body and I can finish two burgers if you give me these yummy babies for FREE! haha. Rob has been feeling all addicted to BB as well. This is where I was able to try onion rings and loved it! See? That's how awesome they are! I never liked onion rings. I feel they're too slimy for my tongue. But with BB, I can devour them all!

And since they're more awesome than ever, they're giving away free brother's burger!! Mad or what?!!

Register and receive an sms from them confirming the free burger.

You just have to buy two (2) toppings. I bought cheese and bacon for mine. That's around 95 pesos only! And you get the burger free!!

Rob was so devastated that his confirmation sms was deleted from his phone. lololol. :))

excuse our super glossy face. camera 360 did that.

ALWAYS and FOREVER!

 BURGER AVENUE
Makati Ave. Poblacion, Makati City.

This was when Rob fetched me from a drinking sesh at Ortigas with my work friends. I had a few JDs and felt hungry after. So, we ate here. The burgers are so so. Maybe because I was a bit tipsy. lol. I don't have very distinct memory of how good it was. But they have great tasting lemonade! Yey! And they have a "challenge" JUST LIKE ZARK'S!!! Hmmm? I hate those challenges! Well, others may like it but not me. It takes away the beauty of eating your food - savoring the flavor and all. When you're up to a challenge, you're freaking required to consume all your food in five minutes! That means you'll have to eat it all bluntly, hastily and grossly!! Eww! :) Just enjoy your food - nice and slow..

BANAPPLE PIES & CHEESECAKES
Market Market, C-5 cor. 32nd Ave,
Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Banapple is known for their chicken pies! But I was such a bimbo and ordered a rather different one. So I ordered for a chicken thingy (I forgot the name) with sweet corn. Ahhh. It looks so enticing and yummy. I should have ordered the chicken pie though. :(

DAVID'S TEA HOUSE
A Venue Mall, Makati Ave. cor B. Valdez,
Poblacion, Makati City.

Rob was sick that day. He was feeling weak and sleepy. He needed soup! We ended up having dinner in David's Tea House! I love their Dimsum! I love the shrimp inside. I want to gobble it all!!! RAWR!!! I ordered for the spare ribs but I wanted to eat Rob's food. Haha. We ended up sharing. He's sweet like that! ♥

Thank you for the chocolate!

R AND J's BULALOHAN
Bonifacio Avenue, Plainview, Mandaluyong.

R & J's Bulalohan is where Rob & I had our first date! HAHAHAHA! :)) Mygosh! I vaguely remember the details. All I remember is that he ordered for Coors Light and I ordered for Tocilog. And the rest, I simply cannot remember! Maybe I was too tensed that time and too kilig to function! We visited R and J's again for dinner because Rob wanted seafood. The place had a very native feel and very crowded for a bulalohan. It was a hit! We ordered for sizzling mixed seafood and beef taquitos. Would we forget the too jeje Coors light and Tanduay Ice? Of course not! The food was so delicious that after eating, I was feeling the food was up to my throat! Just imagine the amount of food I gobbled to feel that way.. I should be a hundred pounds heavier by now!!

You must be wondering why Rob is wearing shades...at night!! It's because he is suffering from "Pink Eye".. just like his pink shirt. lololol. Me so funny! Am I not? He got this from too much pollution, smoke and irritants entering his eye. Poor little Rob. :(

And now, the winner, the champion, the victor...

HAPPY LEMON

Happy Lemon makes us.. well, Happy! Hahaha. There goes my non-existent sense of humor again! Happy Lemon needs no explaining! Just the thought of cocoa milktea topped with creamy cheese.. OH.MY.GOSH! I'm dying!! I first tasted it in Greenhills way back last year during Tin's birthday. A few days after, I brought Rob to watch Johnny English Reborn cause I had free tickets. We ate dinner at Cibo then after that, we headed to Happy Lemon cause I was insisting that he try Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese. He did! And our lives were changed forever! Hahaha. Let the pictures speak..

Happy Lemon!

I don't know how to end this post so let's just all pretend that I wrote something so powerful, so interesting and so worth-remembering to end this long post. Bow!
