you're officially a girl!!!

Usually, parents have their baby girl immediately after they are born.

I don't exactly know when I had my ears got pierced.

My parents told me that it was when I was still a baby but I seriously have a hazy memory of me being excessively wild while people around are trying to do something with my ears.

I have such a weird brain.

For my baby Winter though, her pediatrician/my tita Mel told me to wait until she's a few months old to prevent the hole from widening over time.

Cause babies have really soft skin and tissues, right?

So.

The glorious, glorious day for the right of passage came.

I decided that it was time for her to officially become a girl!

First day of September, I asked my mom to bring her to the pediatrician for her immunization and ear piercing.

before all the pain

chillin' with my cousin (her uncle), Jacob

Are you ready for the injection!!?????

This is Winter acting all brave. And I do think she really is brave. I love you baby girl! ♥

Can you imagine that this small gun could hurt my baby so much? aww. :(

But baby, we must learn the ways of the world : no pain, no gain.

YOU ARE SUCH A BRAVE LITTLE GIRL!!

Of course when I came home, she was all smiles and feeling all pretty and cute with her newly pierced ears.

I get it!

You're happy now cause people won't think you're a boy.

Which you do look like cause of your ginormous hair! lol.

I am not kidding.

See the beauty of having earrings?

Oh the earrings, by the way, were bought by Rob & I sometime in February.

We chose her birthstone : Garnet.

And... here's a poem I saw somewhere about Garnet being the January birthstone.

"By her who is this month was born
No gem save garnets shall be worn
They will ensure her constancy
True friendship and fidelity."

This is us having our bonding moment cause I really miss them and the only time I get to really be with them is the time before we go to sleep.

I love you babies.

I wonder what I did to deserve you as my babies.

Oh well, I have to really sleep now cause tomorrow is our team building!

Call time is 5:30am!!

Oh my gosh!

xoxo. Sweet dreams to me & my loving babies. ♥

also to you. :)
