planners and starbucks

I am admittedly very fond of doodling my thoughts, my schedule etc in a journal. I guess it started when back in high school, we were required to submit a weekly journal of our everyday activities in our English class. After that, I lied-low on the journal thing but went back to jotting down everything when I entered college in DLSU. I don't know if it's the same with other schools but because we live in the tri-sem world, everything is just so fast-paced. We can eat lunch while walking, while waiting in line at the elevator at Andrew Bldg, while in class (discreetly), and any other situation. We are always in a hurry, constantly chasing time, running from one building to another to make it in time for the next class within the 10 minute break via the heavily-populated elevators. God! And the worst of it all is papers, reports and projects are due "next meeting" which actually means... you have 1 day to do it -along with all the papers, reports, projects the other 4 subjects you had that day.

Now you see why having a planner in college when you study in DLSU is very crucial. It saves your ass from missing out on submitting a paper or presenting a report or even studying for midterms / finals.

Now that I am free from college, I kinda kept my habit of having a planner.. only because last year I found a really cute one in Cotton On - most unlikely place to buy a planner. But since I haven't been rushing with all the stuff and almost all the things I need to remember are one search away in my email, my planner has been blank for most months. :(

Look at my planner.

Planner cover ☺

Some days with notes, other days without. LAZY.
Yes, I try to be artsy fartsy with my planner using colored pens, stickers, scrapbook shiz and my latest favorite - this white out thing but instead of white, out comes a print of candy colors!

It is just now that I am using it again cause apparently, I DO need a planner! I am so soooo bad at schedules, so soooo bad at remembering things. So if you are probably the same forgetful lady like me, you should go and get a planner.

And... this is the best season to find a planner! The year is about to end and planners are aplenty in bookstores (National Bookstore, Powerbooks, Fully Booked) and of course, the annual national phenoma, the most coveted, limited edition STARBUCKS PLANNER! ☺

I've mentioned earlier this month that I wanted to have the pink one for myself in this post. Well, I have one now! Yehey! ☺

I am actually saving up for another one for my friend. (Am I a good friend or what? Kidding! ☺)

How can you get yours?
1. Accumulate a total of 18 stickers (9 holiday beverage & 9 Starbucks regular beverage). 1 drink = 1 sticker.
2. Load 5000php on your Starbucks card and you'll get your planner instantly!
3. Buy 5000php worth of Gift Certificates to get your planner right there! ☺

11 cups to go!

DRINK UP!!!! Get your planners now! ☺

P/S I am not a self-proclaimed "BEAUTY". This was given to us by a friend. ☺

UPDATE:

Here's Tricia, Glena and I, holding our own Starbucks planner! ☺
